Welcome to the press area of the 72 Heures de Pont-de-Vaux.
To gain access to the circuit and benefit from the Media chasuble for their reporting, press professionals (journalists, freelancers and JRIs) must apply for accreditation online by August 20, 2025 at the latest.
PRESS accreditation is reserved exclusively for members of the press holding a press card valid on the day of the event. Written press, press photographers, audiovisual production, radio, press agencies and online press publications can apply for accreditation using the form on this page.
Requests from content creators for specialized websites will be examined before accreditation is granted.
Please read carefully the Accreditation rules, which you can download here.
In view of the requests made each year by freelance photographers, AMPV, organizer of the 72HEURES de Pont-de-Vaux draws the attention of freelance photographers to the following:
Freelance photographers often work under their home or car insurance policy, which includes a “civil liability” clause.
A home/car insurance policy only covers your civil liability in the context of your private life. You cannot present a certificate of insurance from your home/car policy for professional services.
In the event of a claim, you risk a lot, especially if you sell photos taken during the event, without the authorization of the event organizers or the people who may appear in the photos.
What’s more, a professional liability policy covers risks caused to third parties, but does not cover risks caused to the photographer himself.
A circuit photographer’s activity involves far more risk in terms of professional civil liability than a photographer providing conventional services. Managing risks on the track is essential. That’s why people working on the track, such as track marshals, need to be licensed in order to be covered.
Is your current insurance adapted to motor sport photography activities? And beyond professional liability, are you and any assistants adequately covered in the event of your presence on a motor sport track?
