Every year, the free-style mound<\/strong> at the 72 Heures de Pont-de-Vaux welcomes riders who come to perform incredible tricks. This is regularly the case for David Tharan<\/strong>, one of the only riders on the planet to perform a back-flip on a quad. <\/p>\n

Another guest at the 72 Heures de Pont-de-Vaux, David Rinaldo<\/strong>, gold medallist at the 2023 X-Games, is used to back-flips, and is also the author of incredible front-flips on motorcycles.<\/p>\n

The same goes for Luc Ackermann<\/strong>, who came on at short notice in 2024 to replace David Rinaldo, who was injured just a few days before the 72 Hours. World champion, European champion, Luc Ackermann accumulates world records. <\/p>\n

On the freestyle circuit for just 4 years, 28-year-old William Saule<\/strong>, from Lyon, France, already has a wide range of tricks and an atypical style with his unusual motorcycle!<\/p>\n

The 12 minutes<\/span>

Initiated in 2023, this 12-minute race, a nod to the 12 Hours, sees 10 crews on YFM 110 R children’s quads, made up of Yamaha officials, celebrities and AMPV members (themselves former riders).<\/p>\n

On a track specially designed for this event, around the freestyle mound, spectators can’t miss out on this sport-spectacle animation and the prospect of a good laugh.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Yamalube Vertical Limit Challenge, a no-age-limit challenge taking place in the center of the QUAD EXPO village, every day on a self-service basis, so you can train on the Yamaha stand.<\/p>\n

The principle is “simple”: hang on to the handlebars of the quad suspended by a Yamaha strap (guaranteed for 10 years) and hold on for as long as possible.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A fixture at all major motorsport events, the Circus Trial Tour has been bringing the Pont-de-Vaux meadow to life for many years. Under the direction of Fred Crosset<\/strong>, the crew’s drivers, who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines, take on the Monster Energy structure, surprising spectators with their aerial acrobatics and plenty of interaction with the public. <\/p>\n

With two motorcycle and quad tracks for kids and one adult track, SMX Concept<\/strong><\/span> is back to introduce visitors to these motor sports at the 72H.<\/p>\n

Created by Julien Dalbec<\/span><\/strong>SMX Concept is an FFM-approved training center based in Sa\u00f4ne-et-Loire.<\/p>\n

Rider in the Burgundy championship for 20 years and with 10 years of French championship behind him, Julien Dalbec is a state-qualified instructor and educator at the Site d’Excellence Sportive Motocross de Dijon for 6 years.<\/p>\n

After competing in the Morocco Challenge and Rallye du Maroc in 2023, Julien realized his dream in 2024 by taking part in the Dakar Rally, an experience successfully repeated in 2025 with a 33rd-place<\/sup> finish.<\/p>\n
