Alongside the 72 Hours of Pont-de-Vaux and the various races taking place on the circuit, the AMPV (Pont-de-Vaux Motorcycle Association), in partnership with CODEVER (Collective for the Defense of Green Recreation), is organizing a ride on Saturday during the event.
Quads, SSVs—all are welcome on these trails, as long as they are properly registered for “road use.” Depending on the vehicle, riders may also be accompanied by a passenger.
Well-supervised and approximately 150 km long, this ride is done in a group, with a lead rider and a tail rider. When passing through villages, the group rides together, and when riding through vineyards, participants ride at a very moderate speed out of respect for ongoing activities.
This hike lets you explore the small villages along the right bank of the Saône, walk through the many vineyards of the Mâconnais region, and visit prehistoric sites. Along the way, a wine-tasting stop is planned at the Lugny winery.
Depending on weather conditions, the organizers may change the route.
To ensure the smooth running of the ride, vehicles must have a full tank of fuel at the start. Riders and passengers must be equipped with helmets, goggles, and CE-approved gloves. Each vehicle must also carry at least a 5-liter fuel can, a tire repair kit, a tow strap, and fuses. Participants are reminded to bring their own water, especially during periods of extreme heat.
Finally, the organizers are planning a welcome coffee break before the hike begins, as well as a get-together over drinks upon returning from the hike.
Registration for the hike grants access to the 72H de Pont-de-Vaux event grounds on Saturday and Sunday: races, activities, exhibitions, etc. (see program)

The AMPV, the Pont-de-Vaux Motorcycle Association (AMPV), under the auspices of the FFM and the AURA League, is organizing a touring event on August 23, in conjunction with the 72H de Pont-de-Vaux, which counts toward the AURA League’s 2025 Touring Championship.
This event is open to drivers and passengers of registered and insured two-wheeled motor vehicles.
To be eligible for classification, each participant must present their tourism license. The event will take place in the AIN department, between Bresse and Bugey, starting from Pont-de-Vaux.
From the Saône Valley plain to the foothills, participants will discover several of the Ain region’s treasures and tourist landmarks: The stainless-steel rooster in Mantenay-Montlin, the “S”s of Tréffort, the Cize-Bolozon viaduct, the Ain River, the copperworks in Cerdon, and the Royal Monastery of Brou in Bourg-en-Bresse. Lunch will be served at the Cerdon lookout point, where the restaurant offers a magnificent view overlooking the picturesque village of Cerdon and its vineyards, with a splendid panoramic vista.

– Friday: Registration from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Registration check-in for the event will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
The basic registration fee for the event per participant will be €70 for licensed adults and €80 for unlicensed adults.
The price includes: registration for the event, snacks and meals, a guided tour of Cerdon, and access to the 72H event throughout the three days of the festival.
To ensure that the tours run smoothly, vehicles must have a full tank of fuel at the time of departure.
The rankings will be determined in accordance with the rules of the AURA Touring Championship. For the individual ranking, the distance will be calculated from the rider’s home to the meeting point. Only licensed riders (men and women) will be ranked.
