Mondial du Quad

The course of the Mondial race

The race welcomes around 117 teams, 20 nations and 8 manufacturers to compete in this legendary 12-hour endurance event divided into 3 rounds, one of which is a night race.

It is based on the fundamentals of endurance and divides the 3 rounds into three different durations: 4h / 3h30 /4h30.

The 4.1 km track unfurls in the meadow, with more or less tight bends, straights and tables.

Every year, teams challenge themselves to win this 12-hour endurance race, which is more like a long sprint. As the level of driving and performance of the quads increases, it’s no longer a waiting game. Drivers have to redouble their efforts and brave fatigue to win until the very last moment.

For several years now, the podium has been decided by a matter of seconds.

Every braking maneuver, every acceleration, every overtaking maneuver must be calculated, if not meticulous. Refuelling increasingly resembles that of major endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As for the night run, it’s always full of surprises and twists.

Tactical and strategic choices become more decisive, the organization of relays is well thought out and everything is well thought out well in advance of the race with the preparation of the machines.
