AMPV Rando

AMPV RANDO

The adventure begins now!

Alongside the 72Heures de Pont-de-Vaux and the various races taking place on the circuit, the AMPV (Association Motocycliste de Pont-de-Vaux) in partnership with CODEVER (Collectif de défense des loisirs verts), are organizing two rides during the weekend of the event.

For who?

Quad bikes, maxi-trailers and SSVs are all welcome on these trails, provided they are road-legal. Depending on the type of vehicle, riders can also be accompanied.

These well-supervised rides of around 130 kms are done in groups, with an opener and a closer. Villages are crossed in groups, and passage through the vineyards is respectful of ongoing activities, and at very moderate speed.

These walks take in the small villages on the right bank of the Saône, the many vineyards of the Mâconnais/Tournugeois region, and prehistoric sites. Along the way, a wine-tasting stop is scheduled at the Lugny winery.

Depending on weather conditions, itineraries may be modified by the organizers.

To ensure that the rides run smoothly, it is imperative that you start with a full tank of fuel. Riders and companions must wear helmets, goggles, CE-approved gloves, and motorcycle boots are mandatory. Each vehicle must also carry a minimum 5-liter fuel can, a tire repair kit, a towing strap and fuses. Participants are also reminded to bring their own means of hydration, especially in hot weather.

Last but not least, the organization provides a welcome coffee before departure, and a “pot de l’amitié” on return.

Registration for the rando gives access to the 72H de Pont-de-Vaux circuit and the entire Expo Quad village, including free-style entertainment.
